DOUBLE DISTRICT © Volker Kuchelmeister |
You are living in both the right eye district and the left eye district. Each one of us lives and acts in this duplicated world which here, Double District dissolves. + and - multiply simultaneously. The destruction and resurrection of the body. The two eyes offer the brain an image that infinitely reflects and multiplies. Beyond sight, this image makes you experience unusual sensations within the brain. It creates an abstract space beyond sight recognition, of the body interior and exterior. Within a limited boundless space. In Double District, an existent illusion is a true reality.
